HOME!

Home means everything! polluted air, crazy loud people outside at all times, loud music, happiness, people gossiping in the salon. I've felt alienated many times. im one of the few people that actually go to school from where im from. Im really different from the people of my community. I didn't grow up sittin on a stoop at all times of night. im the totalopposite of what at typical ghetto girl would be. I've been through many crazy situations in life. I've seen people drugged up, never the less i've seen people hustle in my face.
I miss everything from the bronx. I wouldnt change being a bronx girl for anything in the world! Although where im from isn't the best place in the world it's actually prepared me to over come anything thats thrown my way. I can survive anywhere. I see it as having the best of both worlds. The hood and Stonehill. coming from somehwere that resources arn't great to a school where i have everything is priceless. It's a place where i can get away from everything and just mellow out.

2 pac

I agree that 2 pac was couragous. he wasn't afraid to to tell the world things that went on with his family, friends, and himself. he wasn't afraid to tell the world his other was on crack. or never the less let the world know he was educated. You can tell he was educated through his poems. He really didn't use slang. through his poetry we can see that he had a deep feeling about life. he went through a lot and he escaped through poetry.
I belive i'm a contadictory person because i change myself everyday, when it comes to making myself a better person or helping someone that i usually wouldnt out. But, i never forget where i come from. People that know me know that im a nice person but i can be mean when i need to. i know two wrong don't make a right but i need to get even. I believe in karma, i just make it come to you quicker than expected.

Clothing

My clothing mean a lot to me. As soon as you see me you can tell i have that New York swagger. you can see this in the way i lace my sneakers, how i walk and the clothes i wear. Im the type of person who needs to match from head to toe including my socks. my swagger defines me as a sneaker head. i dont repeat the same sneaker for about two weeks. 500 years from now my style would be defined as urban wear for the fact that all i wear is jordans and nikes. i will be seen as a fly girl because in new york rocking all the lastest jordans is a big deal and i own close to 40 pair of sneakers.
